Chief Inspector Visits the Land and Civil Divisions of The High Court

The Chief Inspector of Courts Justice Stephen Musota today inspected the Land and Civil Divisions of the High Court.
At the Land Division, he was received by the Deputy Registrar HW Natukunda Janeva, who introduced him to the judicial officers, including Deputy Head Justice Asiimwe Tadeo, Lady Justices; Elizabeth Jane Alividza, Kanyange Susan, and Naluzze Aisha Batala, among others.
At the Civil Division, Justice Musota was welcomed by the Head of the Division, Justice Ssekaana Musa, Deputy Head Justice Dr. Emmanuel Baguma, Lady Justice Esta Nambayo (Judge at the Division), HW Kintu Simon Zirintusa (Registrar), HW Mulalira Faisal Umar (Deputy Registrar), HW Nakadama Esther Lydia Mubiru(Assistant Registrar), and Magistrates Grade One attached to the Judges' Chambers.
He inspected the courtrooms, registries, Electronic Court Case Management Information System (ECCMIS) kiosks, and chambers, among other facilities.
The Chief Inspector advised their Lordships at the Land Division to be cautious of fictitious claims by shrewd litigants and encouraged Mediation in Land cases.
He commended the Civil Division for its high rate of case completion and was updated by Justice Ssekaana on the statistics of the recent Case Settlement Week.
In attendance was HW Catherine Nankanja, Magistrate Grade I Research attached the Chambers of the Chief Inspector.
